Locking and Unlocking Discussions

You can lock or unlock discussions at any time. If you log in and you do not see the options to Delete, Lock, or Unlock, then you are not logged in to your forum as the administrator. Please check your user name and password and try again.

To Lock or Unlock a Discussion

1. Log in to your forum using the Administrator user name and password created when you set up your forum in WebSite Tonight.
2. Click the Discussions tab.
3. Click Lock or Unlock next to the discussion that you want to lock or unlock.

Once you have locked a discussion, members can no longer add comments to the discussion thread. However, they can still view the discussion.
